Inspire a Generation
The Community Activators Award is an e-learning course, that aims to provide the learners with the skills and confidence to organise and lead safe, innovative and inclusive wheelchair basketball activities and host community sessions.
At the end of the course the Community Activator will be able to:
- Have a basic understanding of the history and rules of wheelchair basketball
- Provide a safe and welcoming environment for session participants
- Facilitate community wheelchair basketball sessions and activities
- Understand the different types of wheelchair basketball activity that can be delivered or played
The Community Officials Award is an e-learning course, that aims to provide the learners with the skills and confidence to begin their officiating journey in wheelchair basketball.
At the end of the course the Community Official will be able to:
- Have a basic understanding of the history and rules of wheelchair basketball
- Demonstrate the duties of the floor official
- Demonstrate the duties of the table official
- Recognise wheelchair basketball game formats
